Yixuan in ZZZ
As you may already have surmised from the Season 1 epilogue and the various promotional materials for Yixuan, she will be an important character in the continuation of Phaethon’s story. She is the Master of the Yunkui Summit, the place where the siblings will move to in order to learn more about their abilities and their past.
As a playable character, Yixuan is an S-Rank Agent. Her element is “Auric Ink,” a variation of Ether — this is similar to how Miyabi’s “Frost” is a variation of Ice. Her Specialty, however, is something completely new. Yixuan is ZZZ’s first Agent with theRuptureSpecialty. The game describes it as such:
Agents with the Rupture specialty possess great offense and survival capabilities, excelling at using Sheer DMG that ignores enemy defenses to deal massive damage.
What exactly does this mean, and how does Yixuan’s kit, Skills, and Core Skill implement this? Check that out below.
Yixuan kit details
Note: The information below came from Zenless Zone Zero leaks circulating in the community. None of these are confirmed, and all are subject to change.
Yixuan seems to have two versions of her Basic and Special attacks. There are skills labeled as (Test) that involve a stacking Rage mechanic and an “Extreme Vision Field” state.
Basic Attack
Yixuan can charge up by holding Attack during the fourth hit of her Basic Attack chain. She charges up, dealing Ether DMG, but releasing the Attack button before reaching the full charge will instead continue the usual Basic Attack chain.
When fully charged, she will unleash Wing Explosion.
Basic Attack: Wing Explosion
This will execute after maximum charge or after EX Special Attack: Wing Flap. Yixuan dashes backwards and spreads her wings in an explosive attack.
Enhanced Grand Tai Chi Formation
This skill has a (Test) label, meaning this may not make it to Yixuan’s final version.
The effects are as follows:
Dodge
The usual Dodge for Agents. Holding Dodge will cause Yixuan to enter a high-speed Roaming state.
Assist
The usual quick, defensive, and follow-up Assist. She deals Ether DMG.

Press or hold Special with enough energy to trigger.

Chain Attack
She dashes forward and causes an explosion, dealing massive Ether DMG.
Ultimate
Yixuan continuously executes wing attacks followed by a Myriad Talisman Barrage, dealing massive Ether DMG. Yixuan will evenly distribute HP to all squad members.
Ultimate: Myriad Talisman Barrage
A second version of her ultimate that takes priority when she has enough Talismans and Decibels.
Zenless Zone Zero could increase its level cap soon
Zenless Zone Zero might increase the level cap for characters and W-Engines to 70 or 80 soon, leaks suggest.
Yixuan Kit - Core Skill
Yixuan’s Sheer Force scales with her Max HP.
She recovers all her Energy and has a consistent Energy recovery upon entering combat. When she triggers Perfect Dodge, recover additional Energy.
Skills that require Energy can still be used even if Yixuan’s current Energy count is insufficient. When her Energy reaches 0, she will be unable to recover Energy for a set period of time.
Yixuan accumulates Talismans when she consumes Energy.
DMG dealt by her Basic Attack, EX Special Attack: Wing Flap, Assist Follow-Up, and Ultimate skills are considered Chain Attack DMG and Sheer DMG that ignores enemy DEF and uses Sheer Force to calculate their damage dealt. All of these skills also have a slightly increased CRIT DMG.
After unleashing her Ultimate, Yixuan enters an enhanced state. In this enhanced state, she deals an additional instance of damage scaling with her Sheer Force every time she attacks and deals damage. Dodge Counter is also replaced with Assist Follow-Up. She will also automatically activate EX Special Attack: Wing Flap and parry when she is attacked while not using a skill, or during the first, second, or third attacks of her Basic Attack. The additional DMG instance has a cooldown, while the parry can be executed once per enhanced state.
