You know those little stickers on your bananas? You never really look at them, do you? You just throw them away with the banana peel and go about your business. Understanding that, wouldn’t a banana sticker be the worst spot to place advertising?
Sega and Chiquita, the banana company, are doing it anyway. Be on the lookout for over 180 million bananas coming to grocery stores near you, as they’ll feature a sticker promotingSuper Monkey Ball Step & Roll, the Wii game. And in a stranger cross promotion, the branded banana will be featured in the game. Again, WTF?

Healthy snacking is being promoted, of course.
The two companies are kicking off aSuper Bananza Sweepstakes(I see what you did there), and the grand prize looks pretty great: 50” HDTV, a sofa and four gaming chairs, a copy ofSuper Monkey Ball Step & Roll, a Wii console, Wii Balance Board™ (includesWii Fit Plus) and probably some bananas.
