Game publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed there will be aTekken 8story mode included at release.
Fists will be raging on your screen in a story mode that’s teased to bigger than the last entry’s.Tekken 8marketing producer Naoya Yasuda said toFamitsu(viaNoisy Pixel) that its story mode will be bigger thanTekken 7. “As a matter of fact, when I was informed of how much of the budget we had used for the Story Mode, I went, ‘O…Oh, my. This is quite the price,'” he said to Famitsu.
With the game’s32-character roster, hopefully everyone has a chance to shine during the story mode. “I had a hard time connecting them in my head, but fighting games are all about the charm of the characters, so we made sure to bring out the most out of each of them,” saidTekken 8‘s game director Kohei Ikeda in the same Famitsu interview.
Are there any other modes in the game?
Recently at Gamescom, Bandai Namco gave us a more in-depth look atTekken 8.One of the modes that the developers showcased isArcade Quest.
You can make your own adorable custom character and have them stroll around a virtual arcade. It sounds similar toArc System Works’ lobby system, but it is going to be single-player only.
