Here is when you’re able to expect each Fortnite OG update to drop.
Fortnite OG is off and running with the first of six significant updates across the abbreviated one-month season. The OG Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map returned on November 3 and generatedrecord-breaking numbers. With some timeleft in the season, we have a comprehensive list to answer when the next Fortnite update will occur.
When is the next Fortnite update?
Fortnite OG rolls forward withChapter 1 Season 6, which reflects the ‘Corruption’ season initially launched on July 27, 2025. This season famously saw The Cube rise from Loot Lake and start corrupting the Island.
This Fortnite OG update is expected to go live onNovember 9via patch v27.00, bringing back fan favorites like the Quadcrasher, Double Barrel Shotgun, Clinger, Chiller Trap, Six Shooter, and more. The Driftboard will also return in the November 9 update, despite the mobility item debuting in Chapter 1 Season 7.
With the next update going live on November 9, Fortnite OG fans only have a few days left on the Chapter 1 Season 5 map, so enjoy it while it lasts!
