The VALORANT 10.08 patch notes tell us all about the new Gifting feature, along with some changes to Yoru’s Ultimate.
VALORANT is close to celebrating its five-year anniversary, and the 10.08 patch notes reflect that. It also adds the ability to gift items, delivers a look at some Agent tweaks, and of course, features a slew of bug fixes to keep the game smooth.

VALORANT 10.08’s patch notes indicate a return to Episode 1
In patches 10.08 and 10.09, you may expect to hear some familiar and older tunes in VALORANT once again. Music for all menus, character select, and the Victory/Defeat screen will be from Episode 1 to go alongside the fifth birthday of the first-person shooter.
You can now Gift items to friends in VALORANT
VALORANT patch 10.08 brings a long-awaited feature to the game. No, it isn’tthe replay system. I’m sorry. It is the ability to gift items and bundles to your buddies, though! Andright after Marvel RIvals did the same.
With patch 10.08, you can go into the Store and choose the option to gift any skin bundles or specific items within to your friends. For now, it is only the featured items in the shop, but they look to expand it to other things you can purchase in the future.

We honestly don’t think the change to Yoru’s Dimensional Drift will affect his spot in the current meta. It’llprobably take some nerfs to a few other Agents, like Tejo and Vyse, before we see the decline of Yoru’s usefulness.
