Furia shocked fans by securing a spot at MSI 2025, while FlyQuest is not a stranger to the international stage. Meet the LTA representatives.

Often labeled “the weakest League of Legends region,” the League of Legends Championship of the Americas (LTA) has more talent than many give it credit for. At the Mid-Season Invitational 2025 (MSI 2025), the region is represented by two teams: FlyQuest from the North and FURIA from the South.

FlyQuest: The Northern League of Legends sensation

They’re no strangers to the international stage. Their electrifying performance at the LoL Worlds 2024, especially thethrilling 3-2 series against Gen.G, sent fans into a frenzy. With a passionate and growing fanbase, clearly visible through their active social media presence, this team is ready to make waves once again. They defeated Cloud9 after an almost perfect split.

As theLTA North champion, FlyQuest has secured a direct spot in the Bracket Stage. However, their first opponent remains unknown. We’ll have to wait a few more days as the top seeds from other regions clash to determine the matchups.

Since 2023, their placements have been getting better, both regionally and internationally. They won the LCS 2024 Championship and the LTA North 2025 Split 2. In the international scenario, they came from a 9-10 place at theMSI 2024, to a 5-8 place at the LoL Worlds 2024. Even though they did not make it until the First Stand, they now want to prove that they can do much better at the MSI 2025.

Although they may not be the favorites to win, they have a strong chance of performing well in the competition, similar to their performance at the LoL Worlds 2024. We can anticipate an exciting display and some unconventional champion picks to entertain the fans in theFearless Draft mode.

FURIA: There is hope until the last second

FURIA is making their official international debut at MSI 2025. After dominating the Group Stage and securing second place in the Positioning Phase, the team proved they were ready for even greater challenges. Despite paiN Gaming’s impressive regional run,FURIA shifted gears in the final series, delivering a decisive 3-0 sweep to dethrone the favorites. With that victory, they earned their spot in the Play-In Stage of MSI 2025, hungry to show the world what they’re capable of.

FURIA is a relatively new name in the League of Legends scene, with just five years of history. MSI 2025 marks their debut on the international stage, but they’re arriving with confidence and a mission: to take Brazil to new heights. Their standout performance came during CBLOL 2022 Split 1, where they claimed the championship title. Now, the question is: can they bring some much-needed joy to the passionate Brazilian fanbase?
