According to an official TFT post on social media, the game is phasing out Loot Eggs. Players have until March 5 to enjoy this loot system before all remaining Eggs open automatically.

Loot Eggs leave in TFT patch 13.7

Players with Loot Eggs will receive a pop-up reminder to open them before TFT patch 13.7. Those who already own everything available from Loot Eggs will receive 50 Treasure Tokens per egg as well —enough for one pull in a Treasure Realm of their choice.

In the updated patch 13.5 notes, Rodger “Riot Prism” Caudill also revealed the reason behind retiring Loot Eggs. He explained that it’s due to the introduction of Treasure Realms and the Rotating Shop.

“Since the addition of Treasure Realms and the Rotating Shop, Eggs have been all but absent from our cosmetics’ systems,” Riot Prism wrote. “We’re finally getting around to our spring cleaning and doing away with the loot system that’s existed in odd places for Mobile and PC players alike, which’ll save us time on the tech upkeep side of things, and keep cosmetics for TFT in a more intuitive TFT-focused space (Rotating Shop, Pass, etc).”
