Earn some free rewards during the alpha.
Even though Splitgate 2 has only just launched its Open Alpha, you can already earn some exclusive rewards for your account. These rewards come from Twitch Drops, which are earned through watching specific Twitch accounts that are streaming Splitgate 2.
The current crop of Twitch Drops are only available during theOpen Alphaperiod, which runs from Feb. 27 to March 2. This means you need to earn the drops sometime during this week, otherwise, you’ll lose out on them for good.

How to earn Twitch Drops in Splitgate 2
Twitch Drops are extremely simple to earn, but they do require a bit of work on your part. First, you have to watch specific Twitch streams for a specific amount of time. Then, you have to go about linking your Twitch and Splitgate accounts as well as actually redeeming the reward you earned.

You’re able to watch streamers through your browser or the Twitch app on a mobile device. However, simultaneous viewing won’t speed up the time to earn the reward.

How to redeem Twitch Drops in Splitgate 2
Just because you watched a stream for two hours and earned the reward doesn’t mean it’s yours quite yet. To redeem the reward for your account, you need to go to your Twitch Drops inventory page, make sure your Twitch and Splitgate accounts are linked, and then click “Redeem” on the Haunt Cadence Weapon Skin reward.
Once you click redeem, the reward is automatically added to your account the next time you log in. If you’re already on the game when this happens, restart the application to see the reward.
