You know, if there’s one thing I’ve liked about Nintendo in the last 10 years, it’s the touchscreens on the Wii U, 3DS, and Switch. They’re pretty responsive, and I’ve loved using them for theWind Wakerremaster (seriously, having a dedicated map screen is lovely,)Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, andPokémon Picross.
Unfortunately, for one title, touchscreen functionality has been cut.
Picross Swon’t be using the Switch touchscreen when it releases tomorrow, according to a report byGoNintendo. Players can choose between docked or handheld modes to play in, but regardless of which approach you take, the touchscreen won’t comply.
It’s not an earth-shattering revelation, but, for those who like the novelty of using a touchscreen, it’s good to know going in that it will not be available.
