Today, the “grace period” for early access ends inStar Wars: The Old Republic, and players need to log in toswtor.comand submit billing information to continue enjoying themselves. That would be perfectly acceptable, save for one little problem — the website can’thandlethat many people.
Remember thewebsite queuesI spoke about when early access began? Well, it’s worse now. Some gamers have reportedly been stuck on a holding page for hours, and because their accounts are tied to that website, they have no other way of extending their playtime and thus cannot access the game itself.

Amusingly, the servers themselves are said to be quite easy to get into now, because so many people have been locked out of the game. If you’re one of the lucky ones who have an “active” subscription, you may at least play the game without getting thrown into a server queue.
We’ve definitely moved beyond the period where we can say that things are going relatively smoothly forThe Old Republic. By all accounts, things have gotten really damn mess now. Betweenconfusion over subscriptions, broken product codes, andhuge queues, we’re standing in quite the pile of Bantha shit.
