Overwatch World Cup 2023 Finals results and schedule
The Overwatch World Cup Group Stage kicked off on Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. PST. The top 16 teams from the Overwatch World Cup Qualifiers battled it out. Eight teams then advanced to the Overwatch World Cup 2023 Finals at BlizzCon 2023. After duking it out between Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, team Saudi Arabia won the tournament.

Here are the results from the Overwatch World Cup Qualifiers stage. The teams that advanced to the Group Stage are marked with an asterisk.

Overwatch World Cup 2023 teams and players
Earlier this year, the winning Overwatch 2 team of each World Cup Trial received $2,000 USD. The winning teams also earned a spot in the Team Tryouts phase before players headed into the Team Selection stage.

Asia-Pacific Group B
The Wild Card Challenge in Overwatch 2
The Overwatch 2 Wild Card Challenge involved participating groups that duked it out in May. The top two teams from each group advanced to the EMEC online qualifiers. Denmark and Portugal alongside Finland and Iceland fought in June.

“Since all these teams hail from the Europe and Middle East Conference, they will join the EMEC online qualifiers in June, and both the EMEC Group A and B will expand from six teams to eight to accommodate the winners of the Wild Card Challenge,” Blizzard noted.
Overwatch World Cup Season 3 Challenge leaderboard
Folks also participated in the fanfare of the esports World Cup event by helping their favorite team advance in the Overwatch World Cup Season 3 Challenge leaderboards. A total of 36 teams had a chance of getting a customized in-game cosmetic. This World Cup Season 3 Challenge happened between Feb. 7 and Feb. 21, with Poland fans achieving a total score of 7,235. This was followed by Turkey at 7,211 and Hong Kong at 6,869 points.
