If you’re just tuning in, today’s episode ofDestructoidis a veritable cornucopia of acronyms. Why is that, you ask?
Well, let’s see. I start off today’s news by talking about the 3DS’s successful (but decidedlyboring)releasein Japan this weekend. Dale North sent us an exclusive video of him playing on his 3DS with – wait for it –CORGI PUPPIES. You’re going to want to rewind that one several times. I also talk briefly about the YouTube video of someonehacking a 3DS. (Spoiler Alert: It’s not as riveting as it sounds.)
Later on, Max gives the rundown on Croteam’s newest adventure,Serious Sam 3: BFE, while I try to explain what BFE actually means. I still refuse to believe this is a Southern thing.
And best of all, Nick Chester is in town for GDC and was nice enough to drop by the studio to make everyone feel marginally uncomfortable. Just kidding, he did a live non-dramatic reading of this week’s releases. It’s pretty fantastic. We also chatted a little about his expectations for GDC and what we’re excited about seeing.
Personally, I can’t wait for Pajama Cam Jammy Jam: Beyond Slumberdome. It’s the live stream pajama party we’ll be doing from Anthony Carboni’s hotel suite on Wednesday night after the IGF Awards. I heard he got 76 Loko. Stay tuned for more info as we half-assedly make it.
