The Dark Knight Debuts His Very Own BAT’LETH

Star Trek’s bat’leth is one of the franchise’s most iconic and recognizable melee weapons, primarilyassociated with the Klingon species. It’s a crescent-shaped, double-handed blade used in traditional Klingon combat. According to legend, it was forged by the great warrior Kahless the Unforgettable, who shaped it from metal after dipping a lock of his hair into lava.

In Klingon, bat’leth translates to“sword of honor,”butwith Batman now wielding this weapon, he’s giving it a more literal and symbolic meaning.Honestly, it’s surprising the bat’leth hasn’t been part of the Dark Knight’s arsenal until now. Its aggressive design and crescent shape feel as if they were tailor-made for Bruce Wayne.

Fans can compare the Star Trek original with Batman’s version in the images above. While the resemblance is clear, artist Dan Mora has customized it to match Batman’s look. The blade’s coloring complements his suit, and the design subtly echoes his iconic Batarangs. One thing is certain: fans are eager to see Bruce wield this fierce new weapon in action.
