Like many titles,Concordhad a couple of betas beforeits launch. One was a closed beta that only those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game could access, and the second was an open beta. However, regardless of which you played, each promised special in-game items to players who participated in them.

The closed and open betas forConcordgave players a chance to try out all initial 16 Freegunners and a decent slice of the overall game ahead of its launch, though much more is planned forpost-launch in the game’s roadmap. Those who played could unlock two items that they’re able to use in the full release, but they aren’t just going to jump out at you. If you know what you’re doing, you should be able to track these items down pretty easily, but I’ve got you covered if you just need a hint as to where to look to find and equip them on all of your Freegunners.

How to get your beta rewards inConcord

To get your beta rewards inConcord, you need to look in two specific menus. First is the Freegunner customization menu. When you select your Freegunners, choose the Weapon Charm option, and you’ll find the Lil’ Frog Weapon Charm. This is exclusively available to those who participated in the game’s beta, so you won’t see anyone who didn’t play the betas rocking it.

The second menu you need to access is the Player Business Card menu. On PS5, this is accessed by pressing the pause button. If you played either of theConcordbetas, you’ll find the Convergence Background for your Business Card is now available.

Note thatyou won’t have access to these items if you didn’t play the closed or open betas forConcord. I noticed a few playersasking on the game’s subredditwhere these rewards were when I got into it during the early access period with the Deluxe Edition, and some didn’t realize they couldn’t get them because they didn’t play a single match in the betas.

Concordis a hero shooter who, I believe, has a lot more heart than most. Thecharacters, for example, bring it to lifelike I’ve never seen done in a game in this genre. There’s also a massive codex that gets updated as you play on different maps, gain levels, and explore the vast Galaxy Map, which contains dozens of lore entries about theConcorduniverse.

I love exclusive and hard-to-earn rewards in my online games, and these beta rewards are just the tip of the iceberg. Each Freegunner has a set of cosmetics to unlock, as well as those locked behind seasonal progress, challenges, and whatever the developer has planned for the future.
