The new Spring Festival in Marvel Rivals brings a free Star-Lord skin, Lion’s Mane, that any player can obtain!

The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival is here. It is called the Fortune & Colors event. Just like the Winter Celebration, you can play a special limited-time game mode and unlock rewards. One of those free rewards for this Marvel Rivals event is the Lion’s Mane skin for Star-Lord.

You don’t have to pay any money at all to get your hands on, but you will have to put in some work. Let’s go over the details on how to complete challenges, collect some paint, and be on your way to the free costume.

How you can get the free Star-Lord skin during the Marvel Rivals Spring Festival

A new game mode has arrived called Clash of Dancing Lions. You can use the new skins for Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Star-Lord in it. Think of it as soccer, but with their abilities active. In this mode is where most of your challenges need to be completed.

You get danqing for completing them, similar to the currency earnedduring the Winter Celebration. That is then used to paint the background of the event, which will eventually become a Gallery Card. So, here are the steps laid out:

Every reward requires 100 danqing to paint some of the background. This means you’ll have to return and play for multiple days,completing a variety of challenges, before you will be able to unlock the free Star-Lord skin.

Once you do, however, it is yours for good. At any time, you may go to your Heroes page, select Star-Lord, go to his cosmetic section, and give him the Lion’s Mane skin to wear into battle. Enjoy!
