If your Ice Preservation March 7th is already Ascended, you don’t have to do it again for her Imaginary form!
Here are all of the Ascension and Trace materials you need to raise the new March 7th Imaginary unit in Honkai Star Rail. You can begin pre-farming a lot of these materials right now, too!
March 7th is getting a new 4-star Imaginary Hunt form. She will feature the same Path-switching mechanic as the Trailblazer, meaning you cannot have her Imaginary Hunt and Ice Preservation forms in the same party.
Officially, this version of the character will be known as “March 7th - Swordmaster.”

March 7th - Swordmaster (Imaginary) Ascension Materials
These are all of the materials that March 7th needs for her Ascension. Notice that this is the same as the Ice Preservation March 7th materials. This is because, like the Trailblazer, her Ascension and Level carry over as March 7th swaps between her Ice and Imaginary forms.

Horn of Snow Location
Horn of Snow is the March 7th Ascension Material that you really need to farm for. It’s found in the Stagnant Shadow: Robot Settlement in Belobog, Jarilo-VI.
Challenging the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Rime is the main way you can acquire theHorn of Snow.
Using the Omni-Synthesizer has a limit of 20 exchanges of Horn of Snow per week. It requires two of a different Ascension Material for one Horn of Snow.

Here are the total materials required to unlock and max out all of March’s Traces. Note that you most likely will not require this complete list unless you aremaxing out March 7th - Swordmaster.
The Meteoric Bullet, Destined Expiration, and Countertemporal Shot can be farmed from this Calyx node in Penacony. Note that you would need to progress the main quest in Penacony for this area to be available.
TheDestroyer’s Final Roadcan be acquired from the Echo of War: Destruction’s Beginning in Supply Zone, Herta Space Station. Note that you’re able to only challenge this a maximum of three times a week.
