40 teams are heading to Mannheim, Germany in August.
With each region’s ALGS Split 2 Pro League either concluded or left with just a Regional Finals left to play, we have a lot of our ALGS Split 2 Playoffs teams already locked in.
Like previous playoffs, the best 40 teams will head to compete at the event which is being held in Mannheim, Germany. There they will compete for both a share of the $1 million dollar prize-pool, but also valuable ‘Playoff Points’. These points ultimately decide who will head to compete in the season-ending ALGS Championship.

Here are all the currently qualified teams for the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs. The event takes place between August 29 and September 1.
ALGS Split 2 Playoffs: all qualified teams
ALGS Split 21 featured four separate Pro Leagues, in North America, EMEA, APAC North and APAC South. North America had 12 Playoff slots, APAC North 9, EMEA 8 and APAC South 7. Here are the teams qualified through the four Pro Leagues:

Notably, the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs winners, did not qualify for Split 2.

Other ALGS Split 2 Playoffs teams
In addition to those four regions, there are four other teams heading to the event in Mannheim, Germany. South America no longer has a Pro League, instead two sides qualified through the Challenger Circuit to book their spot at the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs.

Then, ALGS Year 4 introduced two slots for teams from China for the first time ever. These teams could not compete in the APAC South Pro League. ALGS invited these teams through theDream Cup, with the two highest eligible teams qualifying.
