A new leak forGenshin Impacthas revealed the model for an upcoming character planned to be added to the game, speculated to be from Fontaine. The next major region for HoYoverse’s massively popular RPG has already seen multiple leaks related to characters arriving throughout the next few patches. A large leak earlier this year saw a whoppingten new characters from Fontainewith the region’s introduction in Version 4.0 expected to launch during the summer. Now, one of Fontaine’s debut characters has seen a new in-game model revealed.While finer details about Fontaine have yet to be revealed,Genshin Impacthas already shared plenty of information about the region through in-game lore. Fontaine is confirmed to be the home of the Hydro Archon with the most technologically advanced civilization in Teyvat, featuring steampunk aesthetics with many NPCs from the region. The region is also confirmed to be the home of the Oceanid enemies, with one Oceanid as a permanent boss in Liyue and variants appearing in past events. Now, leaks have introduced players to a character tentatively referred to as “Sertice.“RELATED:Genshin Impact Version 3.6 Includes Map Expansion, New Characters, and MoreAn update fromGenshin Impactleaker Thereallo shows the model for a new Fontaine character while revealing its filename as “Avatar_Girl_Sword_Sertice.” The female character was one of the batch of characters previously revealed, with the new model giving a closer look at her appearance. Sertice appears to don an outfit similar to a train conductor’s with her filename suggesting the character may debut as a Sword user. However, theweapons and elements of pre-release charactershave often changed before their full launch.

Sertice’s new model comes as one of several leaks related to unannounced characters that have come out in recent weeks alongside the Fontaine character batch. Several leaks have suggested that multiple characters are in the works from the Inazuma region, including a Dendro user named Kirara and anunnamed Electro character from Inazuma. Other named characters like Mondstadt’s Varka and Fontaine’s Wriothesley have also been hinted at through leaks, speculating the characters may be appearing within the next few updates.

Aside from new characters,Genshin Impactlooks to have several major additions planned for its upcoming patches. Friday’s Version 3.6 Special Program revealed the newest update to the game’s map, adding a new region of Sumeru’s desert to the RPG. Version 3.8 is also rumored to see anew limited time area introduced toGenshin Impactbefore the expected launch of Fontaine in August. Sertice will serve as just one of many reasons forGenshin Impactfans to be excited about the game’s future.
