Hearthstone’s new Keyword: Forge
Hearthstone expansions are part of a story, TITANS is also part of World of Warcraft lore. To represent it on the board, the team brings new mechanics with each set. The new Forge Keyword is a mechanic that tells a story.

For two mana, Hearthstone cards with the Forge Keyword can be moved over to your deck area and replaced with an improved “Forged” version. This brings a new strategic layer to the game. You will need to think whether you want to play a card immediately, or to greed it for a stronger one after paying for its upgrade.
The important thing to have in mind is that you don’t need to do everything in the same turn. Once you upgrade a Hearthstone card with the Forge Keyword it will stay that way, which means that you can pay the 2 mana instead of doing the infamous turn 2 Hero Power play.
Activating the Hearthstone Forge Keyword is exactly like the Tradable one from United in Stormwind. It even has the logo below the mana cost as Tradable cards had. In the video below you can see how it looks, and oh boy it looks cool to Forge cards!
