Nisqy joins list of talented midlaners possibly without a team for 2022.

Current Fnatic midlaner Yasin “Nisqy” Dincer recently took to his Twitch stream to announce there is a high likelihood he will not find a team in 2022.

Rumors were circulating around the European midlaner that he would possibly return to North America. Following C9 midlanerLuka “Perkz” Perkovic’s likely departure to Team Vitality, Nisqy was seen as a possible replacement for the 2019 Worlds Finalist.

Part of Cloud9 for two years, Nisqy was an instrumental part in helping Cloud9 win their first LCS Split since 2014 Spring. Unfortunately, in that same year, Cloud9 also failed to make it to Worlds since forming as a team back in 2013 Summer.

As a result, Nisqy was kicked from Cloud9 andreturned back home to the LECwith Fnatic, whom he played for back in 2017 for their Academy lineup. With Fnatic, he made it back to the World Championships before exiting in group stages.

But given Nisqy’s recent statement made on stream, it is likely that the return back to orange or blue is unlikely, at least for 2022.

Midlaners struggling to find a team

Nisqy is not the only talented midlaner unable to find a team for the next split. Rumors currently have it that current Team Liquid midlanerNicolaj “Jensen” Jensenwill also possibly miss out on the next split.

Jensen, an LCS staple, spent the past three years with Team Liquid. However, it looks likely that his tenure will officially end, in favor of the rumoredBjergsen transaction.

With a bevy of talented midlaners on the bench next season, one can expect a number of young rookie talent or a multitude of imports to hit the LCS and LEC stages. It will be interesting to see who got a coveted spot in the LCS and LEC over some veteran names.

Most rumors will officially be confirmed starting November 15th, the official start of Free Agency. Until then, only time will tell how many of these what-if statements will be made true.
