How does this linear fusion rifle stack up against its peers?
Episode: Heresy is Destiny 2’s season of the fusion rifle, and it wouldn’t be complete without a new heavy linear fusion rifle. We’re looking at Eyes Unveiled, the new Void linear fusion rifle and its god roll.

What is the god roll for Eyes Unveiled in Destiny 2?
Eyes Unveiled PvE god roll
If you’re after a new boss-killing damage dealer, Eyes Unveiled doesn’t quite fit that bill. While Triple Tap and Overflow keep the ammo stocks high, it’s missing that big damage perk that could take it into the stratosphere of DPS.
The best option you’ve got, then, is Frenzy for longer boss fights or Withering Gaze to apply the weaken effect against bosses. Eyes Unveiled works better as a champion or major killer than for bosses thanks to Withering Gaze.
For add clear, we’ve got Reservoir Burst, but it’s only handy if you’re using it with Ambitious Assassin or Overflow. If possible, try and get one with the Runneth Over origin trait for extra ammo when reloading near allies.

Eyes Unveiled PvP god roll
If the PvE roll is lacking then the PvP roll is absent entirely. Field Prep grants benefits while crouched, while Discord guarantees a one-hit kill as long as you use other weapons before switching to Eyes Unveiled.
There are honestly better linear fusions you can slot in for PvP. The rolls just aren’t as beneficial in the Crucible; I’d ultimately avoid Eyes Unveiled here.

How to get Eyes Unveiled in Destiny 2
Eyes Unveiled is an Episode: Heresy weapon, meaning it drops from Heresy activities. It can drop from other ritual activities if you activate the Crumbling Linear Fusion and Episodic Scriptures in your Tome of Want.
Otherwise, spam runs of The Nether as they drop very often. If you’re lucky you, might get an adept version of the weapon like we did above! Eyes Unveiled can’t be crafted; enhanced perks can be earned by leveling the weapon up.
