The Big Catfish Pokémon from Paldea will make its Pokémon GO debut as part of an upcoming event.
During the Sunkissed Shores event, players can encounter Dondozo, a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 5. It’s a valuable catch if you already have Tatsugiri in your Pokémon GO collection, since their Pokédex entries are connected.
Dondozo is described as a gluttonous Pokémon that’s terrible at finding food. To compensate for its lack of food-hunting skills, it can often be seen working with a Tatsugiri when catching prey.

How to get Dondozo in Pokémon GO
Dondozo will be available as one of the 3-Star Raid Pokémon during the Sunkissed Shores event. As a Water-type Pokémon, it should be fairly easy to take down if you can use your best Electric and Grass types against it.
Some of the most effective Pokémon for Dondozo Raids areMega Venusaur,Regieleki,Shadow Raikou, andMega Sceptile. If the RNG gods favor you, you can also get a Shiny Dondozo, which will be available right from its debut.
The Hundo CPs to watch out for Dondozo in this event are 1,712 CP for normal raids and 2,140 CP for raids with weather boosts.
What else to expect from the Sunkissed Shores event
For the Sunkissed Shores event, participants will get a 2x XP boost for completing raids. Field Research Tasks will also appear, rewarding players with encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
Additionally, there are a couple of Timed Research waiting for everybody, both free and paid. you’re able to obtain valuable stuff like Premium Battle Passes, a Pinap Berry avatar item, and Dondozo encounters with the paid ones, while the free Timed Research will offer the following rewards:
