Deadlock’s latest hero, Trapper, has some eight legged freaks in his kit.
Deadlock continues to make consistent updates to the game in early access, this time with a new hero called Trapper, among a litany of other additions. Trapper comes with a kit centered around, well, traps and has an ultimate that is sure to make anyone with arachnophobia cringe. Here’s everything we know so far about the new hero and how you can try him out for yourself in the game.
Trapper abilities explained
Trapper is Deadlock’s 29th hero and joinsthe six heroes added in the October updatein the Hero Labs. Trapper’s abilities range from support shields, to spiders, to tethers that he can place around the map. Here’s a full breakdown of each:

With these types of abilities in mind, playing Trapper will require some forethought and planning, as players will need to time their Crawling Plague to interact with Silktrap for the best results. This would double proc both abilities' Spirit damage and can lead to massive damage when scaled.
Trapper’s weapon is currently the same as Pocket’s, but it is likely that this will change as they are in the Hero Labs still. So, as you rarely see a Pocket Weapon-centered build, we’d recommend trying out a Spirit-focused build initially for Trapper.
