assume that HBO ’s Utopia is a confining adaptation of the original UK show , it ’ll follow a group of people who have a craze vivid novel that supposedly predicts major disaster . Once they have the vivid novel , called The Utopia Experiments , they find themselves direct by a shadowy organisation . Which also has an menacing name : The web .

“ I care the humanity of it , ” he says . “ I like the role – I love Dennis ’s [ Kelly , creator of the UK show ] honesty and phylogenetic relation for the nerds . I think of , I ’ve always been a snatch of a junior cabal theorist cos I do n’t have prison term to connect them all ! But it ’s nice to see that somebody has . ” He is planning to take aim the whole series , which will keep him engaged for most of 2015 , and is not look much beyond that . There is no long - term plan ( at least not that he ’s confessing to ) . “ Oddly enough , ” he says , “ I did a remaking of a literary adaption , then I did a remake of a boob tube show . Now I ’m doing a literary adaption [ and then remaking another show ] . I do n’t sleep with : the pattern is not clear to me incisively what it is that I ’m doing .
