A Crunchyroll spokesperson stated that the affected accounts have been secured.
On Jan. 25, a Crunchyroll spokesperson addressed a recent issue that put affected Crunchyroll Premium accounts at risk.

Crunchyroll hacked response
In the response, the Crunchyroll spokesperson stated that the company is aware of the Crunchyroll login credentials being posted on social media. The spokesperson noted that login credentials for “multiple streaming services” were posted as well.
“We are aware that login credentials for several streaming services, including Crunchyroll, were posted on social media and have resolved the issue,” the statement toAnime News Networkread.

The statement continued, “The issue has been resolved, affected accounts have been secured, and there is no evidence of a compromise.”
Crunchyroll Premium password changes encouraged
The spokesperson added that folks with Crunchyroll Premium accounts should “diversify and change passwords regularly and keep them confidential.”
Then, the spokesperson concluded with a link to the company’shelp pageon resetting Crunchyroll account passwords.
