Leakers announced the new champion coming from Legends of Runeterra to League of Legends. Meet Cithria, a warrior for Demacia.
Cithria is a member of the Dauntless Vanguard, a warrior faction led by Garen. Each member of the Vanguard is one of the most well-trained soldiers in the Kingdom of Demacia. She is deft with a sword and is now coming to League of Legends after being in Legends of Runeterra.

Who is Cithria?
The new champion coming to League of Legends isCithria, a soldier for Demacia. She was born in the village of Cloudfield as a dedicated and humble girl. After hearing a “calling” to protect the country, she enlisted in the Dauntless Vanguard. She learned a lot in her training days, especially with the second-in-command to Garen.
After Helmer of the First Shield died, the Dauntless Vanguard recruited Cithria directly into the First Shield from the Testing Grounds. Her scores matched those of Garen himself, making her one of the strongest soldiers alive. During a dangerous mission in a land now aligned with Noxus, Cithria survived alongside fewer than a dozen soldiers, while Quinn suffered injuries. In another timeline, Cithria rose to the rank of legendary warmaster in Demacia, leading her Silverwings to rescue Prince Jarvan IV.

Cithria first appeared as a character in Legends of Runeterra, represented by four cards that depict different stages of her life. As a unit, she serves as a follower. Most follower cards take inspiration from League of Legends lore, with some characters and creatures being developed before making their first official appearances. Notable followers already in the game include Senna and Yone.

Now, Cithria is also coming to the game. Someleakershave announced she is coming with a Darkin weapon. It is unknown how Cithria came across this power, but we will find out soon. For many fans of the lore, she is one of thebest-developed charactersin the lore, which made them very excited for this release.
