Bronny Jamesis feeling it!The University of Southern California freshman scored 10 points in the Trojans’ win over the University of California on Wednesday night, one game after scoring a career-high 15 points against Oregon State University.“He’s starting to be more confident as a player,” USC teammate Kobe JohnsontoldESPN after the game. “And he’s starting to play his game. When he first got back, he was on a [tighter] minutes restriction and he [was] kind of antsy about what to do. But now he’s starting to get into his groove and starting to become the player that everybody knows he is.”

Bronny, the oldest son of all-time NBA leading scorerLeBron James, is still just four months out from undergoing a procedure to treat congenital heart defect –  a response to thecardiac arrest he suffered during practicein late July.

He then missed the first eight games of the season before returning to the court last month, makinghis collegiate debutin front of his “super excited” dad, who cheered on courtside.

“It’s a big milestone for our family, for sure,” LeBron said about his son’s college debut.

Bronny has since played in six games for USC, averaging 7.5 points per game while seeing limited court time due to his health.

“He’s a freshman, [and] this was his sixth game,” Enfield said about Bronny’s performance Wednesday night. “He’s developing as a player and it’s nice to see and nice to watch. He’s a typical freshman but he had a little disadvantage over most freshmen where he was out for five months and had to come back in midseason. It’s very hard to do.”

Bronny added three assists and two rebounds in the Trojans’ 82-74 win over the Golden Bears, eliciting “Bronny! Bronny!” chants from the USC crowd towards the end of the game.

“He was terrific tonight,” his coach concluded.
