As of today, afree demo is readily availablefor the indie hitBotanicula. It features the first ten minutes of the game, and pretty much gives you the general gist of the story. You can alsobuy the game for $10 directlyoff the website.

Before today, I didn’t have the time to playBotanicula(even though I already own it from a former Humble Bundle, funnily enough!), but after trying the demo out, it’s safe to say that I’m going to carve out some time in the near future for it.

It’s a pretty charming little adventure game, and I love the “team based” mechanics — it kind of reminds me of theAaahh!!! Real MonstersgameorLost Vikings, which is a good thing!
