The LR 7.62 is the best sniper in Warzone and it has a powerful loadout.
While the current meta in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone is dominated by assault rifles and submachine guns, another weapon has been making its case as well. The LR 7.62 has become the top sniping option in Warzone for both quickscopers and long-range users. The sniper has a high one-shot kill potential and features some of the best handling in the class.
However, to take down the top long range weapons in Warzone, you’ll need the perfect set of attachments for the LR 7.62. You can see our recommended loadout as well as how to unlock the LR 7.62 in the guide below.
How to unlock the LR 7.62 in Warzone
TheLR 7.62is unlocked at level 49 throughout any prestige until you reach Master Prestige. The only ways to bypass this level requirement for the sniper is to use a Prestige Token on the LR 7.62, which isn’t a bad route, or purchase a blueprint for the sniper.
The Vault Edition of Black Ops 6 comes with a LR 7.62 blueprint and you may unlock one throughout the Campaign as well. If you have any blueprint, including ones purchased from the shop, you unlock the LR 7.62 permanently in Warzone.

Attachments for the best LR 7.62 loadout in Warzone
The loadout for the LR 7.62 features attachments to buff its damage range, bullet velocity, and mobility. With all three of these stats improved, you can take more gunfights at closer range and also have a higher chance of killing enemies from far distances.
While you can fill out the rest of the attachment slots using the Gunfighter wildcard, the LR 7.62 can still dominate with only five attachments.
We have the Long Barrel and 7.62 NATO Overpressured rounds equipped to increase damage range and bullet velocity. The Precision Hanguard improves recoil control and aiming idle sway while the Combat Stock buffs aim walking speed and flinch resistance. Finally, the Commando Grip improves both aim down sights and sprint-to-fire speed.
This LR 7.62 gives you everything you need to dominate the opposition in Warzone. If you’re looking for a strong secondary for the loadout, we recommend the PP-919, which has aterrific sniper support loadout.
