Slaying goblins has never been easier.

Are you wondering what the best Diablo 4 goblin farming routes are? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Diablo 4’s annual March of the Goblins event has returned with new Goblin variants to slay and tantalizing loot to reap. Each Goblin variant can drop unique rewards from gold and crafting materials to ultra-rare Mythic Unique items.

While Treasure Goblins have a relatively high spawn rate during this event, they are still erratic little creatures that can be hard to track. As such, here, we highlight some of the best goblin farming routes in Diablo 4 during the March of the Goblins event.

How to start the Diablo 4 March of the Goblins event

If you’re relatively new to Diablo 4 or just a new recap on how to start the March of the Goblins event, fret not. To start the goblin event, head to Kyovashad and look for the Altar of the Goblin statue. It’s right in front of Idania’s Rings & Amulets shop. You can even spot it in your mini-map with the white badge-like icon.

The statue will let you track your Goblin rank and all the rewards you can obtain by slaying these little creatures. Reaching Goblin rank 10 will get you a Goblin Cache containing a Resplendent Spark and Runes, among other things.

Best Diablo 4 Goblin farming spots

The best place to farm Goblins in Diablo 4 is the Nahantu region, specifically its western part. Chakhir Stronghold is one of the areas where we found five to seven Goblins every time at Torment 1 difficulty. This number should go up even more on higher Torment difficulties.

Nahantu is generally the best place to farm Goblins, even more so when there’s an active Headhunt Zone or Helltides.

Aside from this, we recommend scouting the northwest region of Ked Baru. Simply walk around the beach, and you should be able to spot at least three to five Goblins picking up scattered gold. We recommend keeping an eye on the mini-map for the small Goblin icon, as it can be rather tedious to spot them otherwise among the other enemies.

The PvP regions of Kehjistan and Ked Baru are also surprisingly great places to farm these little creatures.

You can increase your chance of slaying Goblins further by disabling PvP and crossplay, as it would prevent other players from stealing your kills.

Speaking of other players, Goblin reputation is not shared between party members and is earned solely by the player who snags the kills.

As such, we recommend running solo if you want to earn Goblin reputation quickly.

Dungeons like Hoarfrost Demise in Fractured Peaks and Sarat’s Lair can spawn Shrines, which, if you’re fortunate enough, could be Greed Shrines that attract Treasure Goblins. However, dungeon hopping for hunting Goblins requires a lot of backtracking, so it’s best to use this farming method as a last resort.

In general, it seems Goblins spawn much more in the open world than events or activities, so simply strolling around Sanctuary on horseback could be more useful than anything.

It’s worth pointing out that there’s no concrete way to farm one of the new Goblin types introduced in this year’s March of the Goblins event. They spawn randomly, with the purple-colored Fancy Old Fedric who can drop a Mythic Unique having the least chance to appear even at Torment 4 difficulty.
