It looks like two vehicles driven by the most famous doll in the world are preparing to hit the garages of dazzling arcade racerForza Horizon 5— The Corvette and Hummer driven by Margot Robbie in upcoming movie,Barbie,will be arriving in-game at some point in the near future.
The two vehicles were noted byForzafan IdleSloth, who spotted placeholders in the game’s Promo menu. The two cars featured are the “1956BarbieMovie Corvette EV”, (featured in the Chevrolet section), and the “2022BarbieMovie Hummer EV Pickup”, (featured under GMC). Videos of the vehicles in Showcase Mode were later uploaded byanotherForzadevotee, Aziial.
No dates for the drop have been announced, so it is assumed the two *electric vehicles will arrive as free downloads or in-game rewards to cross-promote the movie itself, which premieres July 21.
Directed by Greta Gerwig,Barbiefollows the adventures of the titular doll, as she and her long-time pal Ken (Ryan Gosling) leave Barbieland to visit the “real world” and get a taste of reality. A huge ensemble cast includes Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, America Ferrara, Issa Rae, and Helen Mirren. Response to recent trailers has been extremely positive, and all that’s left is the waiting game before we find out with the talent both in front of and behind the lens can live up to the hype.
Forza Horizon 5is available now on PC and Xbox platforms. Barbie premieres in U.S. theaters July 21.
