Atlus has revealed some figures in its earnings report, but it’s in Japanese which is all bukkake to me. Luckily Andriasang has translated some key info.Catherinesold 260,000 units in Japan and 230,000 internationally, on Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms combined. The report also showedPersona 2on PSP sold 112,000 units, whileDevil Survivor 2on the Nintendo DS sold 106,000.
230,000 units internationally may not sound like a huge amount, but that’s not too bad for a hard-to-market oddball Japanese game when you compare it to, say,Shadows of the Damned. Maybe they’ll one day make a sequel based around adult themes andCrystal Castles gameplay?
