Sharing new creations with outsiders is a vulnerable experience for any artist — includingAriana Grande.

In a new videoshared to Instagramon Thursday, the pop superstar, 30, teared while previewing songs from her upcoming albumEternal Sunshinefor her label, Republic Records, for the first time.

“I wanted to involve my team, everyone at Republic, as soon as possible because things are just pouring out and happening very quickly as they often do. You know how I am and you know how these things go,” Grande told the record label staffers in the clip, seemingly filmed in 2023.

“I’m nervous! I wanted to share with you that this is kind of a concept album because it’s all different heightened pieces of the same story of the same experience,” added theWickedstar, as she started to choke up. “I’m, like, weirdly emotional.”

Grande explained that her intense feelings stem from the fact that she’s been “doing this for you guys for 10 years, 12 years,” she told the team, before turning around and saying to herself, “F—ing pull it together, bitch.”

IntroducingEternal Sunshine, a “working” album title at the time, she said some of its tracks “are really vulnerable” while others find her “playing the part that people kind of expect me to be sometimes, and having fun with that — and the rest of it’s all kind of really vulnerable.”
