I always love it when games do something unique with their art direction. And just when you thought that all of the original ideas have been done already, someone comes up with the idea of using classical Greek art to make a 2D platformer.

Alientrap is a small Canadian studio that is working on a new game calledApotheon. They recently released two screenshots, and it looks really good. I’ve never played any of their games, but the last title,Capsized,has a Metacritic score of 80, so this could be an alright game.
